This week, as OpenAI completed a long restructuring process that sets it up to be even more valuable, the company has also re-done its deal with Microsoft about when AGI happens, who decides, and what happens next. For years, the creation of AGI has been looked at as sort of a singularity moment; now it feels like it'll just be a Tuesday.
